Mandatory Course Safety Talks

There will be a mandatory course safety talk held every hour on the hour that riders must attend before picking up their ride materials and before departing on their epic ride.  Course talks will be held at the Groth Brothers Parking Lot and packet pickup will be available from 10AM-6PM on Saturday.  

Short Course Option

Starting from Groth Brothers Lot in Downtown Livermore, Cyclists will ride with Long Course Cyclists all the way up Livermore Ave.  At Morgan Territory, Short Course riders will stay left and head straight for Mt. Diablo while Long Course riders will turn right and take the Morgan Territory and Patterson Pass climbs before heading up to Mt. Diablo.  Short Course Riders will have a 30 mile ride to the top of Mt. Diablo compared to a 90 mile ride for Long Course Riders. 

Getting Back to Downtown Livermore

Riders are on their own for returning to downtown Livermore.  There will not be a shuttle provided.  There will be parking at the Lower Sumitt Parking Lot in Mt Diablo State Park.  Be advised space is limited and parking will cost $10.  We encourage all riders to return to the start area in downtown Livermore to pickup their finisher medal and post ride meal.
